Governing Body

The Governing Body of the IHSS Public Authority is the Board of Supervisors for Butte County, acting as the Public Authority Board.

The Board of Supervisors appoints an IHSS Advisory Committee consisting of both consumers and providers of personal/domestic care, as well as community advocates. They meet monthly to make recommendations on service enhancements and IHSS operations.

The meetings of the Advisory Committee are open to the public. The main advisory meeting is held at least quarterly, generally the last Monday of the month, from 10:00 – 12:00 pm. For more information and for current meeting locations, call 530-538-5262.
